- Company profiles
- Listings of upcoming VFX-related events
- Listings of support services
- Encyclopaedia of Visual Effects
- Employment rate guidelines
- Labour standards and practices
- Tax credit rules and application procedures
- Immigration rules and guidelines
- Work to promote BC visual effects through a program of public relations
and advertising.
- Lobby government agencies for policies favourable to the continued
success of BC’s visual effects industry, such as visual effects-specific
tax credits.
- Research, establish and publish guidelines for “standard”
industry practices and rates.
- Promote a better understanding of the many facets of visual effects
by other parts of the film industry.
- Help foster the continued growth of a well-trained workforce by
encouraging greater communication and cooperation between individuals,
companies and schools.
